About Us
Fabian & Hayes is an artisan, natural skincare company born in the Pacific Northwest—where wild coastlines, forest trails, and everyday adventure shape the way we live and the way we care for our bodies.
We craft small-batch remedies for weathered skin and worn-out bodies, using whole botanicals, time-tested ingredients, and no synthetic shortcuts. From Gentle Clay Cleansers to Tattoo Balms, Lip Jellies, Body Butters, and rescue salves for greater needs, our line is designed to support real bodies in real life—beautifully.
Each product is hand-crafted and thoughtfully formulated, blending aromatherapeutic plant oils with research-backed ingredients that work. We prioritize sustainability in every step—from ethically sourced botanicals to concentrated formulas packaged in recyclable glass and aluminum.
Our Story
It started with a sunburn after an adventure at Oregon Country Fair. Too exhausted to make a store run for aloe vera, we turned to the pantry. Lathan has been creating herbal remedies since childhood—taught by his grandmother about medicinal plants like yarrow, Oregon grape, and willow bark. With a background in the culinary arts, he whipped up a soothing blend using a little of this and a little of that, and Lydia’s sunburned shoulders found sweet relief.
With encouragement from friends to turn our handmade gifts into something more, we began studying the craft in earnest. Lydia, blending her love for plants with a research-driven mindset, enrolled in coursework at Formula Botanica. She holds certifications in Natural Cosmetic Preservation, Stability Testing, Facial Masque Therapy, and a Diploma in Beauty Brand Business Management, and is currently completing her Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation.
What began as a moment of sun-dazed necessity has grown into a shared passion: to create skincare and body care products that are elegant but rugged, rooted in nature, and backed by science.
Our Products
We craft with intention—every ingredient has a job to do. We believe the ingredients are the product, which is why we spend as much time researching them as we do formulating.
When sourcing, we look for quality, sustainability, and integrity. We partner with suppliers who share our values and prioritize organic whenever possible. We also support small farms in the Pacific Northwest that follow regenerative practices, even if they haven’t yet gained organic certification.
Our formulas are concentrated to minimize waste and maximize impact. We use glass and aluminum packaging that’s meant to be reused or recycled easily—and we choose biodegradable ingredients that return gently to the earth when washed away.
Every balm, butter, and bottle is a quiet act of reverence—for your body, and for the planet.
